Lion's Roar Spring 2008! Greetings! Spring is here and the Mystic Lion crew is preparing for the 2008 festival season. We’ve already booked some shows and are looking for more to fill our schedule. Upcoming shows: Irie Aloha Jam on April 6th at the Arcata Community Center in Arcata, California – Performing on stage will be Luciano, Humble Soul, Mikey General, Stevie Culture, and local Humboldt favorite Jah Sun. The stage art will be provided by Mystic Lion, and we’ll be vending at the community center. Summer Arts and Music Festival, on May 31st and June 1st, at Benbow State Park, in Benbow, California – Once again we’ll have a vendor booth at this beautiful location along the banks of the Eel River. This year we’re excited to present a new gallery of lion banners. Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, on June 20th, 21st, and 22nd, at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville, California – We’ve been asked to do a series of flags for the flags at the entrance of the fairgrounds. Also look for Mystic Lion art on the Trees Stage, and please stop by the booth to check out our new designs and banners. New Backdrops: We have new stage backdrop art for rent. The backdrop “Roots Reggae Revival” has been in session with Midnite, SOJA, and Jah Sun. “Cosmic Blue” premiered at Santa Cruz Dayz with Midnite, Gentleman, Anthony B, and Gregory Issacs.
