HUMBLE SOUL

Douglas Arsinio Bautista is "Humble Soul". He was born and raised in Hawaii, and is an ethnic mixture of Japanese and Filipino. After doing some acting and modelling in Hawaii, he relocated to Santa Monica, California. In California he wrote all the lyrics for and self-produced his first CD entitled "Good Lord, Thank You". "Good Lord, Thand You" has become a classic in the Hawaiian islands. In 1999, Humble Soul moved back to Hawaii, where he first met Lawrence of Mystic Lion at the Kauai Splash Festival.. They formed a bond that has resulted in true inspiration in the Mystic Lion studio. The continuing expression of this friendship can be seen in a Humble Soul poster celebrating Doug's surfing roots, in circulation the summer of 2000. Also look for his new CD, backed by the Fully Fullwood band of Peter Tosh fame, and mixed by the legendary Scientist. |
